Meet Dr. Zerahaimanot, DNP-PMHNP-BC
Dr. Tirhas Zerahaimanot, is a doctoral prepared, licensed, and board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from the University of Washington, Seattle. She has 14 plus years' experience in healthcare and of those 13 years, she specialized in mental health.
Dr. Zerahaimanot's current practice focuses on adult clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. This includes ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and depression.
Prior to becoming a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), she worked as a registered nurse in inpatient psychiatric hospital setting, in which, she provided care to adults. Additionally, she has over 5 years of med-surge experience as a registered nurse.
In her spare time, she loves mentoring youth and giving back to the community. Dr. Zerahaimanot enjoys spending time with her family and the outdoors during the summer. She also enjoys traveling and seeing new places.
Approach:
Dr. Zerahaimanot operates from a holistic, evidence-based approach. She provides diagnostic assessments, education, supportive, motivational, solution-based therapy to clients and medication management. Dr. Zerahaimanot works collaboratively with clients in addressing their mental health concerns.

Practice Areas
Our current practice focuses on adult clients experiencing a variety of mental health concerns. This includes ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and depression.

Psychiatric Evaluation
Offer one hour personalized initial intake sessions. Follow-up sessions are 30 minutes long and may include both med management and psychotherapy.

Provide motivational, mindfulness, supportive, solution-based therapy and CBT.

Psychopharmacology
Medication education is key in providing medication management.
